ZeroNow, the industry alliance formed to drive ideas, innovation, and investment to advance school safety, has opened four categories of membership. Technology innovators, educational institutions, nonprofits and individual advocates are now welcome to join ZeroNow in its mission to make campuses safer through collective impact.
“These four types of memberships represent the key change agents in the movement to end harmful events in our schools,” said ZeroNow Founder and Board President Ara Bagdasarian. “Working together, we have the components and resources to evaluate and head off incidents that threaten campus safety.”
ZeroNow’s Education Partners bring the perspective of schools and campuses that are dedicated to employing advanced safety technology programs and best practices. Industry Partners are companies that are embracing innovation to advance campus safety with new technologies. ZeroNow’s Nonprofit Partners drive much-needed advocacy, training and insights to the movement, and the “Associate” members are individuals who are committed to advocating for the ZeroNow mission to make schools safer.
ZeroNow was founded by technology partners Axis Communications, Johnson Controls, Omnilert and Telos Corporation, the Additional agency, along with campus safety nonprofit partners the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), NASPA (the Association of Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education), Campus Safety Magazine and VTV Family Outreach Foundation.
